| Jim Struwe is a seasoned accountant and serial entrepreneur. Building on his BBA in accounting from Stephen F. Austin University, Jim has assembled almost 40 years of corporate and small business experience. Starting with his various positions with a publicly held government contractor, Jim promoted steadily with this company over the next 17 years to the position of VP of Finance/ Controller. Armed with this knowledge, Jim made his entry into small business ownership in 1992 with one of the two different silicon wafer reclamation companies that he worked with. Jim has worked on various government contracts, public filing documents required by the SEC and DOD, and securing SBA-backed funding for his own businesses, prior to joining the Paris SBDC as a business advisor. He is now co-owner of Audey’s Fabric & Accessories of Sulphur Springs with his wife Audrey. |
