Jennifer Johnston joined the Paris SBDC in December 2018, she acquired her MBA minor in Business Analytics. She has a background in management, marketing, market research, data analysis, and accounting. Market research and financial analysis support the business planning, feasibility, and financial projections applicable to small business growth and financing.
Jennifer’s recent training include National Development Council, EDFP certification on financial analysis and loan structuring. She is NAV Certified Credit & Lending. Jennifer is also a QuickBooks Online Pro Advisor. In 2019 she has also trained on ISBA Business Valuations. Jennifer is a member of the Texas EDC.

Jim teaches Quickbooks Desktop at Paris Junior College Continuing Education, his expertise in defining the process and set-up requirements for it as well as several other business aspects is a resource which will benefit the small business. Jim acquired his Bachelor in Accounting from SFA and throughout his career has managed various business sizes, the financial statements are key to business decision making. His corporate experience and oversight will help determine strategy, cost effectiveness, internal controls, and minimize mistakes.

Martin Orrostieta joins the Paris SBDC April 2022! Martin has a background in small business lending and formerly a small business owner himself. His 10 years experience in banking helped familiarized him with various industries and organizational forms. Along with his entrepreneurial experience, Martin serves on the board of Hispanic Professional Association of Tyler. He previously worked with SCORE at both the regional and National level helping chapters in various states. Martin studied International Business, with a Bachelor in Science from Johnson & Wales University, where he completed a state recognized Leadership program and served as a fellow for the El Pomar Foundation.
